Who We are

A small bakery and general store in the heart of the Sandy Beach neighborhood of Grand Island offering classic European-style baked goods and products from local farms. We put special focus on seasonal ingredients and frequent menu changes that celebrate farm produce when it’s at its peak.

Our Vision

To establish a community-focused small business that serves the people of Grand Island and the neighborhood of Sandy Beach, while also highlighting and supporting the work of local farmers. We will always strive to use high-quality organic ingredients and carry products purchased directly from farms or their cooperatives.

We want all of our customers to visit us and feel a sense of belonging, comfort, and love.

HOURS

Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00pm

Sunday - Friday: CLOSED*

*We plan to open more days as we continue to grow. We want to be here for the long term, so we appreciate your support as we build the business gradually!

Bakery

We are deeply committed to using high-quality, organic ingredients from local farms at every available opportunity. We will continue to evolve our menu and inventory as we are able to locate farms and suppliers that align with our values.

On principle, we also believe in making everything from scratch - no canned fillings, no commercially produced dough, no pre-made frostings. (Not that there’s anything wrong with those things!)

Creating each element of a baked good is part of what we enjoy.

Farm Store

We are all part of a larger agricultural community, whether we see it every day or not. Farmers currently make only $0.18 of every food dollar spent in the United States. Everything we sell comes directly from farmers or cooperatives in your community so that we can do our part to ensure that small family farms can continue to operate and remain profitable.

As we source goods from farms, we will begin to list their names and products here, along with links to their websites.

We also do some farming ourselves! In Spring 2026, we will begin selling eggs and produce from our farm on Warner Drive.

When we lift each other up, small businesses thrive and our local economy grows stronger.
